We founded PVCE in 2018 when we saw a need to provide the South Bay of Southern California and Greater Los Angeles with a top-notch retail coin shop. Since we opened our doors, customer service, privacy, and transparency have been our priority in business. We pride ourselves in maintaining a low-overhead business model that allows us to pay our customers the most for their collectible coins and gold and silver bullion. Rare coins and bullion can be overwhelming for people who don’t understand this business. It’s important to us that, especially during times of loss, our customers have an advocate on their side. Before opening our doors to the public, we operated as a wholesale firm. We traveled the country buying and selling some of the most historically significant 7-figure rare coins in the world. Our discrete location is at the foot of the Hill by Malaga Cove Plaza. We’re close to Torrance, Redondo Beach, the whole Palos Verdes Peninsula, including Rolling Hills and RPV. Our brick and mortar coin shop is near to the Palos Verdes Estates Police department. We use state-of-the-industry security to ensure customer safety.
Meet Our Team
Vincent Ragone – Owner
Vincent has 10 years experience in the rare coin market. Before co-founding PVCE, Vincent Ragone made a name for himself as one of the top Morgan Dollar sellers on eBay. Ragone sold millions of dollars worth of coins, built a solid reputation, and earned the trust of dealers nationwide. At PVCE, Vincent handles all day-to-day operations. He’s one of our main coin collection buyers. He also educates customers on their precious metals and bullion options. When Vincent isn’t educating customers, he enjoys rock climbing, deep sea fishing, and shooting distant targets with his .308 Win Mag.
Ron Sannes – Owner
Ron has over twelve years experience in the rare coin market. He worked for some of the nation’s largest firms, buying and selling tens of millions of dollars worth of rare coins. Ron has created a name for himself as an expert coin grader and specialist in all US gold coins. Ron assists with daily operations and ensures we are always fully stocked with coins and bullion products for customers. In addition to owning and operating PVCE, Ron also serves in the 129th Rescue Wing as a medic in the California National Guard. When Ron isn’t buying and selling rare coins, he enjoys surfing, fishing and running.
Justin Booth – Logistics & Security
Justin has worked security and logistics with many firms and has been helping PVCE since its start in 2018. Justin Booth handles much of the behind the scenes work, including logistics and shipping. Booth is also our security lead. He ensures Palos Verdes Coin Exchange is safe for customers using state-of-the-art security measures.
